Maker Faire 2017

Maker Faire 2017

What an amazing event!!! We had a great time at Maker Faire 2017, it was an opportunity not to be missed, we travelled abroad, saw a new country and shared our skills with members of the community. We showcased many of our In-house designs and everyone got a chance to print with us. People made wonderful products, they realised that they can get really creative. So if you’re lacking the confidence and want to get involved, please do so, as you are the only thing in your way of achieving something like this.

It wasn’t only fun for the young people but for everyone across all ages. There were high levels of engagement, people were able to construct their own designs and transform them into wonderful prints and most of all, the best part was seeing the smiles of all participants. They had produced things such as cups, plates, t-shirts, cushions and many more. It was a beautiful day with a stupendous atmosphere, everybody learnt something and had fun.

The makers did a brilliant job of showcasing their skills to the wider society. Box Of Prints had also used this platform to spread the word of our products and services.

We love the idea of an ‘sharing community’.

On that day we delivered what we always aimed to do “Print with a purpose”

So… Well done to the many makers who attended and skill shared. We hope to carry on with what we’ve built.

Get ready to see us at Berlin Maker Faire 2018!

BOX OF PRINTS is HERE!

Box Of Prints give back to ‘Alzheimer’s Society’ with new collection.

On 29th April 2016 saw the launch of textile company Box of Prints’ and its new collection, Lost Memories.

‘Lost Memories’ appeals to two parallel studies of Alzheimer’s disease and Erosion. It is a personal collection that pays reverence to her beloved Grandma who was diagnosed with Alzheimer in 1998 and had suffered with the illness for 10 years.

This year marks 8 years since she passed away. The launch was in dedication to her life, and to the great work in which Alzheimer Society does to support those in contact with the illness.

Box Of Prints LTD was well supported by Bishop Moraldo, Mayor Councillor Jenny Mann and Councillor Stephen Mann.

Claire Thorpe replied “congratulations on your new business and I think your idea of a launch tribute collection in remembrance of your grandmother sounds like a wonderful idea. I also cannot thank you enough for thinking of the Society.”

(Community Fundraiser at Alzheimer’s Society)

For every sale of the ‘Lost Memories’ collection, 15% will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Lets show prints with a purpose and give to an amazing charity.
