Jocelyn Brown will be headlining the show on Sunday 28 August, this seasonal musical veteran began singing in public at the age of three in the church, and at gig’s with her family.  She then first gained national attention with the release of her debut album for Warner Brothers Records “One From The Heart” in 1984.  With cuts produced by Jellybean Benitez and the teams of Hubert Eaves/ James Batton and Russ Titleman/Rob Mounsey, Jocelyn featured eight powerful cuts which include hits like “Love’s Gonna Get You” and the perennial Club Classical “Somebody Else’s Guy” written by Jocelyn and her sister Annette.

Jocelyn Brown is a woman with a powerful, soul shaking voice that reaches out with extended arms and engulfs your musical desires.

Also performing on the Sunday will be Paloma Faith’s live band, The Faithettes presenting a killer show of pop & soul covers with the tightness and vibe of one of the world’s top festival acts.  The Faithettes have toured the world for over 5 years, playing hundreds of shows, including Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, New Orleans Jazz Festival, and sell-out arena shows.

British Soul group The Real Thing, famous for hits such as ‘You to me are Everything’, ‘Can you Feel the Force’ and ‘Can’t Get By Without you’ will be headlining the music stage on Monday 29 August.

Other acts playing over the two days include The Dualers, Britain’s much loved Ska and Reggae band, who have had a number of album releases and several top 40 chart singles including Kiss on the Lips & Truly Madly Deeply, a Special Kinda Madness who combine the phenomenally energetic stage presence of The Specials with the wonderful iconic tunes of Madness and the Nation’s Favourite Oasis Tribute Band Noasis the definitive tribute band to Manchester’s five piece super group Oasis. Formed by die hard Oasis fans back in 2006, the band has toured extensively and with over 600 performances to date has justly earned its reputation as the leader of the pack.

More acts will be announced soon.

Box Of Prints give back to ‘Alzheimer’s Society’ with new collection.

On 29th April 2016 saw the launch of textile company Box of Prints’ and its new collection, Lost Memories.

‘Lost Memories’ appeals to two parallel studies of Alzheimer’s disease and Erosion. It is a personal collection that pays reverence to her beloved Grandma who was diagnosed with Alzheimer in 1998 and had suffered with the illness for 10 years.

This year marks 8 years since she passed away. The launch was in dedication to her life, and to the great work in which Alzheimer Society does to support those in contact with the illness.

Box Of Prints LTD was well supported by Bishop Moraldo, Mayor Councillor Jenny Mann and Councillor Stephen Mann.

Claire Thorpe replied “congratulations on your new business and I think your idea of a launch tribute collection in remembrance of your grandmother sounds like a wonderful idea. I also cannot thank you enough for thinking of the Society.”

(Community Fundraiser at Alzheimer’s Society)

For every sale of the ‘Lost Memories’ collection, 15% will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Lets show prints with a purpose and give to an amazing charity.
